Kai is the 5 year old son of Mike Coon's cousin, Michelle Sanborn, and was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 21 months old. He has been in treatment for four years with one year remaining.
During this time he received blood and platelet transfusions. The hope is that he will stay in remission and any remaining undetectable cancer will be destroyed by these treatments.
We wanted you to know that there is an upcoming event that will be dedicated to Kai Sanborn.
There will be a Community Blood Drive at Stillmeadow this Sunday from 9am - 2pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (#118). (You will need ID to register). All of the blood donors will receive a T-Shirt.
SPECIAL GUEST
Mike Coons and Michelle Sanborn will also be sharing their story at Stillmeadow this Sunday. The Sanborn family extends a heartfelt thank you to all who have donated previously - and especially to those planning to donate at Stillmeadow this Sunday.
