Family Ministry Sends Jamaica Team / Rolf and Debbie Kleinfeld

While most of us were sleeping at 1:30 this morning, our Family Ministry sent a team of youth and adults to partner with the Church of the Nazarene in Jamaica. They will be leading a VBS, Basketball and Soccer Camp, doing small construction jobs and building relationships with our Jamaican brothers and sisters in Christ.
Would you pray for the church in Jamaica and for our team as well? Pray for…Aubree Dedrick, Katelyn Dellinger, Jeremiah Franklin, Micaela Frederick, Alyssa and Kirsten Harrison, Reid Klahold, Nathan Lahr, Lorenzo Paul, Natalie Rinehart, Rhaelynn Zito. And for Rachel Baublitz, Pastor Isabell Clark, John Franklin, Pastor Jade Frederick, Pastor Burdette Lahr, Herb and Lonnna and Ryan and Sam Miller, Dalita Paul, Erma Shaffer, Holly and Lester Strait, Aubrey Shaffer and Pastor Kent Vandervort.

The Kleinfelds Visit Stillmeadow
On Sunday, Nazarene Missionaries to Cambodia, Rolf and Debbie Kleinfeld shared about the work of the Kingdom of God in Cambodia. Did you know that the church in Cambodia...
  • Is mostly first generation Christians?
  • Faces persecution?
  • Mostly lives in the countryside?
  • Lives surrounded by Buddhists?
  • Mostly cannot read or write?
  • Mostly does not have access to clean water?
  • Struggles for access to education?
  • Mostly have been touched by the trafficking industry?
In spite of all this, the Church of the Nazarene has been growing in Cambodia, expanding from 17 churches to 54 churches, practicing hospitality for the orphans and the widows among them, preaching the good news of Jesus to those who have never heard it, and growing in their understanding of how to live together as the body of Christ.

One incredible story: Cambodia is a 3rd world country.  Medical facilities are not available or are not good, and very costly, when available. But God hears His people when they call out to Him! Healings from sickness and disease are common, as well as protection from illnesses and accidents are part of the testimonies we get to listen to when we travel among your family in Cambodia. The most recent testimony was a new believer who shared with excitement about her new life in Christ, how Jesus has cleansed her and set her free from sin, etc., and oh, by the way, when I asked Him to save me, He chose to heal me from a sickness I had had for over 30 years, and I didn’t even ask Him to heal me!

Please pray for the Kleinfeld's and the church of the Nazarene in Cambodia.
