"As we continue Jesus' mission in a brand new year, we are grateful for the many who have already "fought the good fight". Dr. E. E. Grosse is one of those warriors and at the end of his visit to Stillmeadow in 1994, he offered a special prayer which was framed and currently hangs on a wall in the Sprenkle House. This prayer provides an important reminder that as we continue Jesus' mission, we stand on the shoulders of people like Reverend Grosse." Pastor Bud Reedy

"We come to you with grateful hearts. We’ve listened to the gospel of Jesus Christ; we’ve heard the truth, and our hearts respond with joy."

"Dear Lord, bless the Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene. It’s a witness. You planted it here. You put it here for a purpose. We pray that they shall fulfill that purpose and that many souls shall be found, many shall find what their heart is longing for, the truth of God. The people have come to worship from north, south, east and west. They’ve assembled here with hungry hearts. And when they leave, after a week of problems, heartaches and weariness, may they go to their homes from the house of God charged with the Spirit of God, strong to face the world and sin and may they shine as beacon lights for God. Oh, we pray that all of us shall keep our lamps trimmed and burning and reflect the glory, the beauty of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Bless the church and bless the pastor. Oh, we thank you for his life and pray that you will see to it he carries forth your will in his preaching. May the Holy Spirit inspire him. Bless him, keep him strong in mind and heart, strong in body and may the hand of God rest upon him for the sake of the people to whom he ministers. They love him. They should; he loves them and he feels a responsibility to bring the truth to them. God bless him.

And as we now as we go our ways, may we carry with us the riches of divine truth using it for your glory. In Jesus name we offer our closing prayer and seek your benediction.
